particleIllusion 3.0 revision list ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Version 3.0.1 10 Dec 03 New Features - Added Sequence Start and End frames to background image dialog. This allows part of an image sequence or AVI to be used as the bg image. - Also added a "hold count" to the background image dialog which allows an image (or the last image of a sequence or AVI) to be held for a specified number of frames. - Added library name to top of library window. Click to load a new library. Can be turned on/off using the library window context menu "show library name" option. - Added more information to graph window titles. Can be turned on/off using the graph window context menu "detailed titles" option. - Added "flip vertically upon import" option to Import (position data) dialog. This allows tracking files exported from combustion to be used. - Added "All files" options to Import/Export (position data) file types after selecting "Tab-delimited text" as the import/export type. This allows for easier selection of files that don't end in ".txt". - Point Smoothing dialog (when using "record position" function) has been updated a little, and the slider range has been increased. The previous "max" setting was 10; the slider now goes to 20. - Added "Paste" to context menu of Hierarchy. Since Copy & Cut were already there, not sure why this was missing. - Added maximum supported texture size to OpenGL info window in preferences dialog. Bug Fixes - Now allows non-integral framerate values, so it is possible to set the project framerate to 29.97 fps. - When bg image was not the same size as the stage, and you answered "no" to resizing the stage, that question would be asked a second time after clicking OK to close the bg image dialog. - When using the "keep aligned to motion" option with motion blur, often the initial particle angle would be different for each blur frame, resulting in a visual "jumble" for that particle. - Import/Export (position data) options are remembered now between sessions. - Import/Export (position data) choices now include After Effects 6.0. - When drag select a Force (with the "drag box") it would not be selected in the hierarchy. - When point smoothing was used after the "record position" function, the internal control points (not visible) for the position keys were not updated correctly. This would only cause a problem if fields were rendered on this emitter, and if the emitter contained "single" or "attached" particles. - Removed the always-disabled (never used) "Export" command from the "File" menu.
